I have fallen in love…three times – with the three men’s fragrances by Ulrich Lang. These scents develop very surprisingly and are just amazing.
Anvers
The first Antwerp scent, introduced in 2003. Minimalist, timeless, very virile. Anvers opens with notes of bergamot, lime and tangerine, followed by a spicy accord of sage, mint and basil. The second act is highly erotic: dark violets, honeyed jasmine and sesame give the perfume sensual deepness with a leathery base followed by woods, amber and a fruity guava accent. Anvers is like the morning; it has power and charisma and feels like a strong shoulder.

The second Antwerp scent, introduced in 2007. An absolutely fabulous chypre with a feminine touch. Bergamot, lime and lemon open the show followed by a pinch of black pepper and an overwhelming rhubarb note – it blows my mind! But that’s not all, the scent becomes a little bit more bitter but still soft with sandalwood and cedar, more masculine, greener, smokier but with a powdery note. A fanciful perfume. A dreamer.

Nightscape
Nightscape, a tribute to New York City at night, was released in 2009. Unique presence…this scent develops fast, very fast. Actually it comes up immediately. I have been hooked since I have opened the bottle for the first time, because I love patchouli and this scent is very well done. I would even wear it on a hot summer day. I like to break the rules. After an exceptional opening with bergamot, jasmine and geranium, the night opens its dark heart and lets us plummet into the abyss. Spicy leather, delicious cedar, sensual musk and finest patchouli build the base of this marvelous scent. I am falling…directly into the arms of this modern oriental.
