In autumn 2011 Humiecki & Graef presents a limited porcelain edition, thus introducing an exceptional, sensuous product to the traditional luxury fragrance market.
Brand founders Sebastian Fischenich and Tobias Müksch succeeded in engaging Dutch artist Wouter Dolk, world-renowned for his hand-painted, often floral-themed wallpaper, to create the stunning flacon designs. Four distinct floral motifs were developed for the porcelain perfume bottles in close consultation with the artist. Each of the hand-made flacons was realized with meticulous attention to detail in collaboration with traditional Thuringian porcelain manufacturer Kämmer in the eastern German town of Rudolstadt. The designs were applied using a combination of traditional printing techniques and hand painting that goes back to the 18th century.
The Edition Limitée consists of four of the eight Humiecki & Graef fragrances. A single flower was selected for each of the selected scents, symbolizing the main inspiration for the fragrance. Wouter Dolk has artistically interpreted each of the flowers in an exquisite, illustrative ornamentation.
The Humiecki & Graef Porcelain Edition is limited to 125 individually numbered flacons of each scent worldwide. Each of these precious one-off items is packaged in a special paper and linen box created especially for this unique edition.
